    Bangladesh parliament passed Money Laundering Prevention Act, 2012 on February 20, 2012. In the act they have delegated powers and established Bangladesh Financial intelligence Unit and also determine the responsibilities of the reporting organizations in prevention of money laundering and impose the penalties for non-compliance of financial institutions.<\/p>

    Regulation 23 of Money Laundering Prevention Act, 2012 emphasizes the provision of trainings for financial institution including reporting entities.
